Maroma celebrates its 50th year with a special exhibition at @gallerymaji , bringing together the works of artists who are part of the Maroma.

Spanning generations, geographies, and a wide range of mediums,the artists presented here contribute their skills to Maroma’s commercial practice, while simultaneously practicing their art in their independent studios.

This engagement creates a meaningful dialogue between art and design, production and expression. It is a model where creative skills moves fluidly between personal inquiry and collective contribution.

This exhibition focuses the value of such a practice-where artists and designers participate in shaping the world not only through aesthetic exploration but also through socially engaged and functional work.

A space is offered to recognize how creative practices can exist within and alongside systems of production.

Rooted in Auroville’s vision of sustainability and global harmony, Maroma has long been a leader in natural wellness and conscious living.
